Q. Why should I use herbal products? Herbs and herbal products provide real health benefits while maintaining a remarkable safety profile. In fact, the World Health Organization has estimated that 80% of the world's population continues to use traditional therapies, a major part of which are derived from plants, as their primary health care tools. These products are found in the form of teas, tablets, capsules, liquid extracts, and others. We now have ready access to products that bring the herbal traditions from all over the world in a variety of convenient forms. Q. Are herbal supplement products safe? Federal law requires that every food product, including herbal supplements, is free of
"adulteration" and is not "misbranded." This legal language
translates into a requirement that all foods and supplements have a reasonable
expectation of safety when offered for sale and when used as directed.
There are so few
credible reports of unexpected side effects due to herbal products that most
experts consider problems with herbal products to be of only minor concern.
Norman Farnsworth, Director of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Traditional
Medicine, is generally considered to be one of the most respected experts on
the scientific research of botanical medicines. In a 1993 article written on
the subject of herbal safety, Dr. Farnsworth concluded, "...side effects
or toxic reactions associated with herbal medicines in any form are rare. In
fact, of all classes of substances reported to cause toxicities of sufficient
magnitude to be reported in the United States, plants are the least
problematic."
Responsible and informed use by consumers is essential to insure that herbal products maintain their established safety profile. Accurate product labeling must provide consumers with all information that is material to the use of the product.
An active member of the National Nutritional Foods Association (NNFA) and the

Q. What is nutraceuticals? Combining the terms for nutrition and pharmaceutical, the term "nutraceuticals" refers to foods or supplements that provide health and medical benefits.
Q. Should I tell my Doctor that I'm using herbs?
Of course! And because your doctor is, ideally, your primary partner in managing your health,
you should insist that your doctor receive that information respectfully. In
telling your doctor of your decision to use an herbal product; however, don't
be surprised to find that your knowledge of herbs is more advanced.
Q.
What about interactions with prescription drugs?
The introduction ofsynthetic and highly purified drugs is an extremely modern development. As
researchers observe the interactions that drugs have with common foods and
herbs, surprises continue to surface. For example, about 10 years ago it was
found that drinking grapefruit juice increases the serum drug concentration
when patients take certain drugs. This effect, which can last for up to hours
after consumption, is now thought to inhibit specific enzymatic activities
responsible for breaking down the drugs. Similarly, both avocado and leafy
vegetables that are high in vitamin K can diminish the effectiveness of
blood-thinning drugs. These concerns are not widely known by the public, but we
at Chi’s Enterprise are aware of such reactions and routinely monitor our
products to assure safe and effective results. However, clients with specific
medical concerns should consult their private physician before consuming both
herbal supplements and prescribed medications.
Q. How effective are Chinese herbs?
Chinese
medicinal herbs have been used for thousands of years, much the same as the
Europeans relied on Western herbal medicines before modern medicine was born
from it. Medicinal herbs have been an important source of natural product drugs
and the root of modern pharmacology.
Q. How safe are CHI supplements?
At Chi’s Enterprise, we are extremely vigilant with the quality control of our
products. Our company has been successful in offering our practitioners and
patients quality and highly effective supplements for over 24 years.
The
products undergo heavy metal analysis and microbiological tests to check for contamination. When they arrive in
the United States, the FDA randomly samples products and conducts further
contamination tests.
Q. Are the herbs grown in China?
Yes,
the herbs are grown in China. Because of specific climate and altitude
requirements to grow certain herbs, some species of herbs cannot be grown in the United
States.
Q. I’ve read that some patent Chinese medicinal herbs are supplemented with pharmaceuticals. How
about CHI Supplements?
Webelieve that Chinese medicinal herbs and pharmaceuticals are not to be
combined. CHI Supplements do not
contain pharmaceuticals.
Q. Are CHI supplements 100% natural?
Yes,they are 100% natural. CHI supplements do not contain sugar, pharmaceuticals,
artificial color, gluten or preservatives.
Q. How are CHI supplements different from other herbal supplements?
Someherbal supplements are produced by simply grinding the single herbs into
powder. No extraction procedure is employed to separate the active ingredients
from the inactive ingredients, which may compromise the efficacy of the herbs.
CHI supplements are produced by identifying, extracting and purifying
the biologically active fractions of the herbs to obtain the most potent
ingredients.
Q. Are CHI supplements manufactured in GMP facilities?
Yes. All products listed are manufactured in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certified facilities.
Q. Can you comment on the side effects of Chinese herbs?
Like
any medicine as a whole, some Chinese herbs may have undesired side effects.
However, available statistics in China show that many more adverse drug
reactions are reported for chemical drugs than Chinese herbs. CHI supplements are safe and well-tolerated.
Q: Do I need to take CHI supplements separately, or can I take/mix them
together?
Dietary supplementsserving the same medical conditions or targeting similar bodily deficiencies
can be taken or mixed together. For instance, Vein Lite and Asparagus Extract
in the herbal tea form can be mixed together because both products act as
detoxifying agents in the removal of acidic wastes within the body. However,
many prefer the simplicity of taking one dietary supplement at a time. Products
taken together or separately all result in the same level of effectiveness.
Q. How long do I need to take the herbs?
Many
herbal formulas or extracts act to adjust or restore the normal physiological
conditions of the body. This is not easily achievable in a few days. Depending
on the indications, the herbal supplements must often be taken for an extended
period of time before their full benefit is experienced.

processed? Online Orders
When you click the
"Submit" button, your order is electronically submitted to our order
system. You will also get an automatic email confirmation of your order. After
receipt of your order, we will manually check your order and apply any discounts
for which you qualify. After your order has been charged to your credit card,
your order will be shipped. If your order was submitted on or before 12:00 pm
Pacific Time on a business day, it will ship out the same day. Otherwise, it
will ship out the next business day. Phone/Fax/Email Orders
You will not be
given an order confirmation number when ordering through these methods;
however, an order total is usually provided if you order by phone. If the order
is received before 12:00 pm PST on a business day, your order is processed that same
day. Orders received after 12:00 pm are processed and shipped on the next
business day. Q. Will I get an
order confirmation? Online orders
Yes, an automated
order confirmation will be emailed to the email address you provided on the
order form. Please make sure that you provided a valid email address and check
the spelling. Please note if you have set up your email account to reject
automated emails you will not receive the order confirmation. Contact your
email service provider for technical assistance. Phone/Fax/Email Orders
No confirmation is
given unless you requested it. Q.
Is there a way to modify my order after I have submitted it? Generally, yes. You
must call our toll-free number at 800-457-5708 as soon as possible. However,
please note that any orders submitted on or before 12:00 pm Pacific Time are processed and shipped that same day. You must call before 12:00 pm to make
changes to your order. For those who submit orders after 12:00 PST, you may call
our toll-free number until 12:00 pm the next day to make changes to your order. Q. What forms of
payment do you accept? We accept the
following from residents in the United States and Canada: Orders from all
other countries must be paid by postal money order or cashier's checks. Only
established international customers may pay with a credit card. Q. Why isn't my
discount reflected on my online receipt? Our online ordering
system does not automatically calculate discounts. Any discounts will be
applied when we process your order manually. It will not appear on your
shopping cart or email confirmation. Discounts or free items will be reflected
on the invoice included with your order. Q.
What is your return policy?
Effective Octoboer 1, 2010, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number is required for all returns. To obtain an RMA, you must call within 30 days of order date and provide your name, invoice number and reason for the return. A return handling fee of 20% of the sales amount applies to all returned items received by us after 30 days of purchase date. All returned merchandise must be in their original unopened containers. We do not accept returns of unsealed items, books, PDK, toothbrush and the F-Scope. A different return policy applies to the MIT device. Q. What is your
return policy on the MIT device For the Mineral Infrared Therapy (MIT) device, full
refund (less the shipping cost) is given if returned within 14 days from date of
receipt. You must call before returning the machine to obtain a return authorization
number. Machines returned without authorization will be refused. All machines
returned after 14 days from date of receipt will have a minimum surcharge of
$100.00 and have to be in good working condition. Repair charges will be
deducted if necessary. Q.
What are your shipping options?
United Parcel Service (UPS) Shipping UPS only delivers to physical addresses.
Orders shipped to P.O. Boxes will be sent through USPS Priority Mail.

Priority Mailorders are shipped on Tuesdays and Fridays, except when these days fall on
holidays. Orders received before Tuesday at 12:00 pm PST will be shipped that
same day. Orders received after that will be shipped on Friday of the same
week. Delivery is from 1-3 days, depending on destination.
Shipping to P.O. Boxes All orders going to P.O. Boxes will be shipped by Priority Mail.
Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii Orders going to Alaska and Hawaii will be shippped by Priority mail.
International Shipping All packages shipping to other countries are subject to customs inspection and any other import/export laws implemented in that country. The receipient is responsible for any duties, taxes, and/or brokerage fees that may be due.
Q. How long does it take for my order to arrive?
In order to deliver the finest and freshest dietary products, all of our orders are shipped within 24-48 hours, except on weekends and major holidays. All orders made on weekends and holidalys are processed on the next business day. Chi’s Enterprise employs various shipping methods including UPS Ground and USPS Priority Mail. More detailed information is provided under Shipping Options above.
Q. Will you notify me when the order has shipped?
All orders are processed and shipped within 48 hours of placement (subject to credit card approval). If you would like an email notification, please provide your email address when placing your order.
Q. Somebody I know would really like your products. Can I ship to an address other than my own?
Yes. If you order online, you will be able to enter separate billing and shipping addresses when you go through the order checkout process online. If you order by phone/fax/email, please clearly indicate that the order will be shipped to a different address.
